Zero appeared with an unconscious Corin in a back alley way next to a bar, not Angel's Lounge another of the countless bars that lay within the city center. The night sky was cool, and the moon shined brightly in it's full moon look. The sky was clear and the stars seemed to be watching everything from their perch in the heavens. Zero looked to the night sky and smiled. It had been two full days since the battle at Spiral's lounge.
Covering Corin in a tarp and throwing some trash on top of him. Zero looked around a corner then down the alley ways to make sure no one had seen them.
His thirst was unbelievable. This connection to Hybrid was beginning to take it's toll. His eyes shifted from a red and purple glitter effect to a blue color, as the feeling of an overwhelming thirst began to rise in his stomach. His head hurt a slight bit from the confrontation in the Book of Zero, and his body ached from the power struggle that he endured.
Zero had teleported them to a place that he frequented quite a bit when he fell off the grid. The world was full of people who needed help. Here in the center of the city, there were thousands that were left homeless and and abandoned by the people that either defended or were left behind by. This was the perfect place to hide though. When someone was trying to be invisible to something as powerful as the SEAPA, the best place to hide was in plain sight. Years ago they would scoff at the sight of the homeless, always thinking that they were not even worth looking at, and that way of thinking was exactly what he was looking for.
After a few minutes, Zero tended to Corin, making sure he was well hidden, then walked deeper into the alley's looking for something to feed on. Shouldn't be to hard considering where they are. The other thing that this place had besides homeless, was an unlimited supply of bottom feeding thugs that preyed on the city. Guess it was karma time. Now they were the prey.

Corin drifted through the blackness of the void he didnt know where he was but he followed the voice of his mother leading him.
As he drew closer and closer he saw a growing light, as he passed through he found something he would never have expected.
Looking around Corin found himself in the middle of what appeared to be a small town, people moved around as if this was just any other day.
Corin found himself standing before a small dinner and seated at a booth by the window as if there was nothng out of the ordanary was his mother.
Stepping into the cafe Corin was greeted by a girl that appeared to be in her early twenties, "Welcome to Ridgehouse Dinner, would you prefer a table or booth." Before he could answer his mother called out " He is with me Christy" she said waveing him over.
Corin walked over and took a seat in the booth, Christy followed them over and set a small glass in front of him, "Let me know if you need anything," she said with a smile and a wink then turned and walked away.
Looking back and forth between her and his mother the damn in Corin's mind just broke, "What is going on here what is this place, where are we, who are all these people.
With a laugh Kara said " Well thats a fine way to say hello after all this time, you could have at least started with oh my god your alive, but to answer your question this is Kisara Ridge as it was the day it vanished into the void.
After you colapsed helping Zero break his bond to Hybrid you were very weak and much nearer death than eather of you realised so in order to save you I anchored your essence to this place to allow you a place to exist while your body revovered.
Now as for how this is here well it all goes back to the day of that battle when the hole was ripped into the void, I sacrificed myself to close the breach but it was too late to stop the town from being drawn in but I was able to create this small pocket of safety for the people.
No one else knows what this place is except Christy, helps me keep everything here controled and contained, to everyone else this place is just a normal town and it is still the same as it was that day, they have been living the same day over and over but they dont realise that.
I have been able to keep this place stable and safe since that day but I will not be able to forever I need you and Zero to make what peace you can with PEA and Psychorin, then you need to find Simon and Bastion if they are still around, if not then you will have to gather all the help you can and figure out how to bring these people back. If you can seperate me and bring me back also that would be great also, she said with a wry laugh.
I dont know what is going on with PEA and Psychorin nowdays but do whatever you must to get them on board, the Shadow Guardians might also be able to help if you can find a way to reach them. Also tell Zero I dont know what happen to Seara that day but she is alive and she is not trapped in here so she is out there somewhere. She may be able to help. She introduced me to Quint and helped me to join Psychorin she became my dearest friend and was like a sister to me.
Also help Zero his bond to Hybrid is broken for the moment but the reawakening of all his parts will not be easy for him, dont let him fall too far into that darkness again, help him find the ballence he needs. Now you must go, I know you have many more questions but, I can only hold you here safely for so long, you must hurry.
With that Corin awakened with a startled jerk, sitting up he found himself in an alley covered over with a tarp and random trash.
Where was Zero the thought looking around, suddenly he could feel him somewhere farther down the alley, he also felt the powerfull thirst, Oh no Corin thought he was hunting, rising Corin turned and begain to make his way down the alley tword the sourse of the feeling, all the while hopeing he had not already failed at what Kara had asked him to do.....

In Corin's mind a strange energy began to flow, but not from the same place as the Kisara Ridge. As Kara and Corin's conversation ended, a tall lithe gypsy like woman walked in. The right side of her face was covered by a mask that was solid black with and eye hole. Her hair was long and blue in tint flowing as though it were being lightly blown in a wind. Her athletic body was covered in an ivory skin with black tattoos covering one of her arms. She moved with an unnatural grace, and seemed to be floating on air as she walked towards the counter.
Christy looked at her as she approached the counter. The woman removed the mask and shifted her hair to cover that side of her head and smiled as she arrived at the counter. Christy: "What can I get you miss? Table or booth?" Woman: "I will have what their having...", pointing to Corin and Kara.
The Woman looked directly at Corin and then to Kara. "You will need help to free those who are trapped. I can help. You will need Zero, help him as Kara requested. I can help you but unfortunately I cannot leave this realm. Before you can go further, you must make sure Zero is free of Hybrid. My name is Angelia. Energy Speaking I am your Aunt. But don't call me Aunt Hellias." She shuttered at the thought then continued. "Get to Angel's Lounge and open THE door.", she said and smiled at Kara, "Your boy is something else. He has made us proud. We'll try and break you free. But no matter what, we will at least bring you to peace of mind, just hang in there.", with those words, a blueish tint covered her, then her body burned away as though on fire.
--------------------------
Zero was sitting in a bar drinking a beer at the counter. The room was frozen in place as though something had ahold of them. Zero drank the beer and reached over the counter for another, watching the bartender as the bartenders eyes looked at him in horror. Zero's thirst was overwhelming but he seemed to be in control for the most part. It was as though he were here to think, not feed. Within himself, he could feel the connection to Hybrid and the urge to feed rising. He was struggling with the morality. He had already feed on the 3 thugs outside the back alley, although they would just be unconscious to those without the sense of energy, and he was still wanting to feed. This place was a smorgish board of food, but he seemed to be refusing to feed on these people.

Corin followed the pull of Zero's mind untill he found the bar, walking inside he looked around at the mass of people frozen in there various stages of exhistance, but all had lookes of fear and panic.
This is no way to keep a low profile man, we need to go I know where we need to go next, and I have two really intersting conversations I need to tell you about on the way. Somehow our lives just keep getting wierder and wierder.
Put them to sleep or make them forget or something so we can go I should be able to get us a car out here somewhere.
Turning part way to the door Corin waited for Zero to follow...

Zero finished his beer and stood up looking to the bartender. Pulling a money clip from his back pocket, he flipped a few bills out and sat them in front of the frozen body of the keeper. "Thanks. I'll be on my way now."
As he spun on his heels, everyone fell to their faces and then to the floor asleep. Zero smiled as he followed Corin, "This is to cool. I have a few things I can do now that I have no idea area. Running on instinct here."
Zero laughed as he followed Corin, "Weirder and weirder? Shit, I can't handle any more strange, how bout more tastey, or more challenging... I think we're full on Weird."

Walking across the parking lot Corin found an older nondescript truck and reacing under the dash he pulled the wires out.
With a bit of spit and spudder the truck came to life with the twist of a coupld of wires. As they got in Corin said what can you tell me about a woman named Angellia says she is my Aunt.
After listening to Zero's reply Corin thought for a min then continued, we are headed back to Angel's Lounge we have to open that special door. I am hoping what ever we find in there will help us or at least point us in a better direction.
Stoping a couple of blocks from the bar Corin ditched the truck in a side alley then they headed onward to their destination....

Zero just listened and looked around as they drove down the road. "Open the door? Angelia?" "Angelia was Bastion's sister. Didn't know she was still alive. Is she the one who directed you to the door?" Zero thought for a moment as they ditched the truck and began to walk towards the bar from a couple blocks away. "We are gonna have to do something fancy to open THAT door. After all the one who placed it is very much dead." As they approached the door to Angel's Lounge Zero stopped and looked into the window at the reserved sign and sighed. "Guess it's time to sit down." to open the door
